BEEN AWHILE.
In the past.. sometime, I've been staying at my lovely boyfriend's house for the weekends, I met toxic_flurrie in person and she cut and dyed my hair, and I started school at the end of August. Yep, still in high school. Grade 12.
Grade 12's fine. I say this with some kind of humour behind it, as this'll be posted sometime past 5:20am, and I'm only up at this hour to start off a Monday morning because I was doing a homework assignment all night (all night = 2 naps, lj checking, and talking to Tyler all night). I'll be fine tomorrow, except for a bit of a confrontation.
This is absolutely typical of girly high schoolers but I got into a bit of a.. not an argument, with my best friend Amanda. Our 'group' at school is fairly small, but Amanda and I talk just us two, hang out just us two a lot type thing, not the whole group. To be honest, I'm terrified about tomorrow just being mad-awkward and things, nothing was resolved.
But it just bugs the hell out of me when she gets going at me to "get a job", "get a car". The job thing ended since I was working for a bit, the car thing backfired today, but she works on her family farm and has been forced to since she was 12, so she's had decent, steady income for some time. Her daddy paid for a pretty nice car for her. My family does not own a business, nor is my dad willing to fork over a ton of cash for a car for me. The whole need-a-job-to-buy-a-car-need-a-car-to-get-to-said-job thing has me stuck, and we just got into a thing about the car business when I phoned her. Blah.
Other Concerns For the Week:
Biology 30 quiz I have not yet studied for, having worked on other assignment 'all night'. Law 30 paper I was writing. I'm not done it because I need clarification on something, but that means I need to finish it at lunch. And once I have the clarification, I'm fairly sure I'll still have no idea what to write for the one point in it.
Amanda drama.
Getting home Wednesday after the AP English thing.
Rides there and back for staying at Tyler's this weekend.
And now, am talking to him about university being useless, and please don't let his views on this screw me up, I want to go, even though my brother's going and he hates it and mahhh. :(
