joshthevegan1) Who was your hero when you were a little kid?
Growing up most of my heros were my camp counselors at girl scout camp. They were fun, funky, artsy, some were gay (and helped me to understand, recognize and come out later in life), some were veg, and basically they didn't give a fuck about what society told them "women" were supposed to be like. One who left a big impact on my was Jamie "Bubbie" Moe (who was friends with the guys from Weston and Digger, LV punk scene yeah!) who was my boss over the summer when I was 15. She died in a fire that fall. I have a tattoo of her artwork on my foot as a dedication. It was my first tattoo.
2) When you retire, do you want to live in the city, the country, or the suburbs? I would love to live in a rural part of a suburb by a city. Think areas of Doylestown. Close enough to Philly, but enough privacy and space to have a garden and maybe help adopt a few rescued farm animals.
3) Have you ever been to a drive-in movie theater? If so, what was the last movie you saw at one?
Um, I grew up 4 minutes away from Becky's Drive-In! I went to them a lot as a kid. I think my parents liked it because I could run around and then fall asleep for the second one. We used to pack coolers of food and drinks and sneak it in. I did this all throughout my college years as well when people from other countries stayed at my house. I think the last movie I saw was a double feature of Scooby Doo and something else. Were were doing it more so for the experience than the actual film.
4) What song can't you get out of your head lately?
I'm a big Lady Gaga fan, so Bad Romance gets stuck in there a lot, and I love it.
5) Does Catt Damon have any cute quirks (like snoring when he naps, for example)?
Catt Damon talks a lot and we have meow conversations back and forth a lot. There are many times he'll be walking around in another room just meowing to himself and when we walk in he stops. He also does the clicky thing when cats try talking to insects to lure them down so the cat can attack (see below if you don't know what I mean). He also does a lot of run+attack pounces where he then gets so scared he runs away just as fast, if not faster. For awhile Zach and I tried to get him to speak. We swore he would say "hello" to use but our friends said we were just doing some wishful listening.
