She calls the Sheriff, because wasn't that guy a state fugitive at one point? She also remembers him fighting that Killer Croc creature, but maybe that was a nightmare.
"He called me Commissioner," Sheriff Stilinski tells her in a horrified whisper. "And something about underneath what he does defining him. Except what he does is steal all my Hungry Man dinners."
Later, the sheriff finds an enormous lantern on his roof pointed at the sky. Most of it is covered in black construction paper. One shape has been cut out, the light burning through it.
...A fox? Maybe some sort of goat? He's pretty sure it has four legs. Stiles, usually so forthcoming with art criticism, is remarkably close-lipped on the subject.
