I just read the episode summary of 5.09 and well...
I can't tell if it's irony, fate, or a Trickster messing with everyone that THAT episode is airing THIS WEEK of ALL WEEKS.
Sam and Dean are tricked into attending a Supernatural convention by their super-fan Becky. Sam and Dean are in for a shock when many of the fans are dressed up like them.
I AM DYING. Too bad their characters are not currently dating anyone. WILL THEY BE FORCED TO DO A PANEL? Inquiring minds want to know.
So basically, the fourth wall is the Mystery Spot. And Kripke is Sam Winchester with an axe. Hopefully, no one will get beheaded over this. Actually the spn_gossip comm? I hope they get flayed alive. Literally. In the episode. Though that might justify their pathetic need for attention so maybe offscreen then.
It's like Kripke makes the show. The fans watch it. The fans lick it via porn. Kripke reads it. Kripke licks us back via the show. It's a whole licking thing.
