This is to please Ryan:
1) Not being self-centered. This is the most important thing. It's boring when the person you're with is doesn't really notice you. Am I needy of attention? Maybe, but when a relationship becomes too polar, it becomes... ionic.
2) Intelligence. This is actually rather easy to satisfy, as I don't mean skyrocketing IQs; mainly, I can get impatient with stupid people sometimes, myself included, and it would be in the best interest of all for me not to chew peoples' heads off. Plus, it would be nice if someone other than me kept track of tax forms. I nearly forfeited my NM money due to stupid paperwork, bleh...
3) Interests/tolerance for my interests. Because another opera lover might be too much to ask for, haha. But if your significant other doesn't consider the things you cherish worthy at all, then it's a bit difficult to feel fulfilled.
4) Reasonably good looking.
5) Erm. Doesn't keep (too) many secrets?
So I got Finale today (I bow down to you, O David), and will be able to convert the opera into accessible .midis. How exciting! Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to put my real name in the registration of this shadily gotten product. Sometimes, I wonder...
But with every good must come a bad, I guess.
