(no subject)
Hello all. I have returned to Livejournal (although I check my friends page like everyday!) partly because I have been meaning to for a while and partly because bronzemedal prompted me to! I go back to uni on Tuesday which is slightly scary yet slightly a relief as it will save me from my summer of working and being bored. I am currently enjoying the autumnal weather, especially as it is sunnier and brighter than all the summer has been and my inner photographer is loving it haha.
I made a lovely cake yesterday which we enjoyed for dessert today.
The recipe is posted here on my blog which I am still carrying on updating, but Livejournal seems more personal somehow doesn't it? I don't know why.
Nina is growing up fast and relations between her and Pepe are getting much better! Pepe had a cut on his neck off her playing a bit too visciously though, I think because her teeth and claws are so sharp at the moment. I've been treating it with a bit of lukewarm salt water and pretending I am Vet Helen, like I used to want to be when I was little before my hamster bit me and I decided I was too scared to be one hehe. I would probably have better career prospects if I did pursue that dream...
She has such a little foxy face and pointy ears, you wouldn't think she was Pepe's niece to look at her!
