Today has been so warm and lovely, I just want it to be summer already! Alas, tomorrow is going to be wet apparently and will dampen my spirits.
I did okay with last weeks resolutions. I took Pepe out 4 times which was very nice. I ate very healthy until Friday when I went to Scott's and had a chippy tea and ate an easter egg! But hey, everyone needs a day off. I also kept ontop of my uni work, read everything I needed to and finished my essay for Monday. So hurray :)
This weeks are as follows
1. Tidy my room and keep it tidy!
I am a slob. I throw everything either on the floor or on my bed and therefore on the floor when I go to bed. Having a tidy room also helps me work more efficiently, I think. It is also another reason for me to procrastinate before settling down to work! 'Oh I can't work like this, let's tidy my room for an hour THEN do work'. But yeah, that's why I'm going to actually keep it tidy. It's not that hard to hang clothes up really...or is it?
2. Get as much uni work done as possible
Final 2 weeks then 2 exams so everything is heating up a bit work wise! Got one 3000 word essay due in in 10 days and revision to do for exams. I need to organise my notes properly and decide which plays to re-read for the exam and everything, then I will feel more prepared.
3. Eat my 5-a-day
So yeah, we all should eat 5 a day but we don't. Some days I go to bed and think 'Oh crap I didn't eat any fruit today except for some peas with my tea' or something. So I've been having sultanas on my breakfast and a glass of orange juice; and veg with my tea. It's been going good so far :)
I had a lovely shopping trip with Emma on Friday, got a really nice dress from Miss Selfridges and it's a size 8! I blame this on vanity sizing. We're all getting fatter so the shops make the sizes bigger so we keep buying their clothes! If I was a size 14 or something in a shop I'd be like 'I am NOT a size 14' and wouldn't buy it. I know it's stupid...but it's true! I got a skirt from a charity shop once that was a size 14, but was more like a 10 now really as it fit me perfectly! I also got some lovely bow headbands from primark which I have been living in.
Scott made me watch Pushing Daisies and I love it! It's so Tim Burton-esque but lighter and happier...although it is about dead people. I love Chuck's clothes and it makes me want to bake pies a lot. I also can't wait for Heroes to return! I know it's supposed to be a bit rubbish because of the writer's strike...but Peter Petrelli...swoon. <3 I am going to be proper square eyes between The apprentice, Heroes and Pushing Daisies! I usually watch hardly any television.
