I randomly decided to start posting fics to my journal again? I don't know, still deciding. Depends on bigbang. This will also be posted at foreverinink.

Anyway, onto the fic.

Title: The Storm Rolls In
Fandom: Bandom
Pairing: Alex Suarez/Ryland Blackinton [It's more of an adorable friendship than anything].
Rating: PG-13
Written For: thunderr08
Summary: During one night off tour, a thunder storm rolls in.
Author's Notes: The story in the middle is kind of cheesey, for that I apologize. Also, this broke my Ryland and Alex fic-cherry.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything.

The blue sky of Troy, NY quickly turned to grey as there was crack of thunder and strike of lightening lit up the sky.

Alex Suarez was sitting on his bed in the hotel room, eyes staring out the window. The macbook that rested on his legs was quickly moved to the bed and he drew his knees to his chest, arms hugging the thin legs.

The rain began to fall. The drops leaving a dull beat on Alex's hotel window. His eyes still hadn't move.

He watched each rain drop as it fell, only blinking when the stray one would his the window.

Another strike of lightening. He jumped. Crack of thunder, he his face in his knees.

Alex has always hates thunderstorms, ever since he was little. One time, when he and his family were still living in Stratford, he had been at the library book sale when the lightening has caused the power to go out. He wasn't able to find his mom and was stuck hiding under a table until the storm ended and the power came back on.

He looked up from his knees when he thought he heard the rain letting up.

Wrong.

The rain began to fall harder. The lightening strikes more frequent, along with the thunder.

The lights flickered. Alex jumped again, grabbing at the sheets and pulling them over his head. He hated that he turned into a little kid, but he couldn't help it. He hated thunderstorms.

The door handle clicked and turned, the lights flickered and the lights went out.

"Alex?" Came a voice from the shadows.

He couldn't respond. The thunder was starting to get louder, the rain drops on the window were getting louder too.

"Shit," the voice whispered.

Alex peeked through the sheets to see who it was but that didn't help. The room was completely black. He felt the bed dip and scooted his way back to the headboard until he couldn't go any father.

A thing hand upon his leg caused him to scream.

"Alex! Calm down. It's me, Ryland," The voice, Ryland, said as he made his way up the bed and sat closer to Alex.

Alex peeked through the sheets again, this time being able to see Ryland's face from the light that was escaping into the room.

"Shit, dude. Seriously." Alex pulled the sheets from his head and stretched his legs back out on the bed. "You fuckin' scared me."

Ryland gave him an apologetic look but didn't get he chance to say anything when there was another crack of thunder and Alex's knees where back to his chest.

Not saying anything, Ryland scooted himself closer to Alex, wrapping an arm around his shaking form.

"I hate thunderstorms," Alex mumbled, resting his head on his knees once more.

"I know."

"I hate acting like a little kid, but, these fucking storms man," Alex turned his head and looked at Ryland.

"I know," Ryland said, squeezing Alex's shoulder just slightly. Alex leaned into the touch and allowed the half hug that Ryland was offering.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome," Ryland said and kissed the top of Alex's forehead. Not sure why, just knew he needed it.

The two remained the way until the storm ended, ending almost as quickly as it had started.

Thoughts?
