I wouldn't know. Before arriving here, I never had much time to read.

[She brushes past him, lifting her fingers to run along the spines of the books.]

There are...always the classics, yes? Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Don Quixote...

[She pulls one out, flipping through some of the pages.]

Here. [She hands over a copy of 1984.] Perhaps this?

[He stares down at the book, wondering at the significance of the title.]

I've not heard of any of these. So what is this one about?

[She thinks a moment on the translation of what she wants to say.]
