[002] - Audio (Common)

Jun 09, 2010 20:59

Here we are, trapped on a boat, but I don't suspect there's any chance I'll be able to do any fishing while I'm here. Unless somebody around here knows something I don't. [He hasn't been here long, so he's hopeful. Hakoda isn't given towards eating much food that he didn't kill.]

[audio], hungry for seafood

I believe there may be fish in the water of the caves, but I heard someone had taken up residence there.

Cave fish, huh? [Not exactly his favorite.] Is it someone who would mind visitors?

I doubt it. At least not unless you are willing to part with your soul.

Don't we all...

[Have a chuckle, Pops.]

I think perhaps your best choice will be to use the food offered to the passengers in the many restaurants. I'm sure no one will mind if you cook it yourself.

I could do that. Of course, a meal is much more enjoyable when you catch it yourself.

Oh, believe me, I know.

But sometimes... we must settle, lest the ravenous beast of hunger takes us over.

Ravenous beasts of hunger are always the tricky ones, aren't they?

Indeed. At this point, it would be a good idea to cut your losses.

Maybe, at least for tonight's meal. Maybe I'll eventually find a deck submerged completely in water.

Good luck with that. I shall recommend Sergei's. There is quite a selection of seafood here.

[In the background, there is the clinking of bottles and the sound of pouring.]

Sounds promising. I just have to remember what deck I spotted that on.

It is on Deck 10.

[There is a cough and the sound of breaking glass.]

Oh! That is disgusting!

Tastes like a hobo.

[Have an amused chuckle.] I've never had a hobo. I take it they're not very tasty.

Not at all.

[Enjoy the sound of running water as she cleans up her mess.]

I am not eating this.

It looks like we're both going to have to be unhappy with our suppers tonight.
