Again, thank you so much! I didn't expect anywhere near the reaction this got. I thought maybe a few people would comment, but I mostly just wanted some more C/Z art floating around the net.

The response has been incredibly rewarding and motivating.

I grew up familiar with Star Trek TOS and Next Gen, but I swear Kirk/Spock only bashed me over the head with the new movie- and then it was just duh, you know? And now going back and watching the series- the relationship is so in your face it's like whoa. So I definitely recommend you taking a gander at the original series whenever you get the chance. If you liked the new movie then the series can only endear these characters to you more. (I know the nu!characterizations bother some TOS purists, so it might be best that you become acquainted with it backwards anyways.)

Supernatural is my *show*. Wincest wasn't ever my thing (I don't have anything against it, mind you- Dean/Cas just stole my heart) so I didn't actually jump into fandom until really late (sometime after S5). I've been watching it since 2005, though. I'm a horror buff and a fangirl- this show is everything I ever dreamed of. I'm actually glad I gave it a chance, and surprised I did, really- it came out on The WB around the same time as Buffy was still airing and I honestly thought it was just going to be another Joss style knockoff (which is kind of a rag on both ends, because I don't like Buffy, like, at all- so the similarly formulated shows such as Charmed were even more irritating and impossible to watch for me).

This particular piece took me about a week, working on and off. I don't get a lot of free time- but I'm half insomniac so that helps a little. I couldn't clock the hours for you, because I generally lose track of them. (If I'm really into a project, I totally have to be reminded to eat, sleep, and use the bathroom.)

I think you severely underestimate the C/Z shippers. We're kind of rabid. In the BEST way. (And seriously, your CZ is probably the best I've ever seen. MOAR!)

Dude. Friday nights at my house are DEVOTED to SPN. We only got into it last summer, but we're hooked. I've got everything except Season 7 on DVD and I shall be preordering that soonish. I'm a big fan of "the 'cest," as I call it, so Wincest was just a natural jump for me. And I don't really find Misha as attractive as J2, although he is HILARIOUS. See, I saw Jensen on Smallville way way back in like 2006 and immediately labeled him "TOOL," and stuck him in the box with Charmed and Buffy (which I agree are totally irritating. I'm so not a Joss fan.). But this summer I stumbled on SPN and I'm so hooked.
