LIfe is what you make of it...and that's it

Since my last post, I have gone to the driving range several weekends. I love it. The days have been gorgeous and I've been hitting the ball rather well. I have had spiritual and emotional upliftings and downfalls lately and I know why. Something has happened lately that has opened my eyes drastically. I do not want to write the details of the situation here for fear I will jinx it and for the simple fact of privacy. All I need to say is I am extremely happy and more comfortable with myself.

Glad football season is here again! Went to the Vikings/Saints game this past Monday. We had great club level seats but kind of a crudy game. We only lost by 3 but it should have been a win. We are now 2-3. LSU has all new quarterbacks. So we are waiting to see how great they will be. Currently we are 4-0 going into a game against Florida tomorrow. Can't call who will win that one.

Work has been going well. I get more "bored" than I used to but it's because I'm sharing the job. It's not all my paperwork/phone calls like I am used to. It's cool though. Julie is a rockstar to work for.

I went out drinking and to Perinos with a bunch of the captains a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun but a long night. I really miss the closeness I had with the vessel crews in Belle Chasse. I would not take back the drama, but I would like that back.

Leo is coming in tonight for fall break. Excited to see him! Mom and Dad have been travelling without any children in the house. Val has been at school and back at PJ's coffee. Everyone is doing well and staying safe, which is the most important part.

I love my family, my friends and my life! Feel more blessed everyday.

Hope to write more soon!
