This week was not that exciting. I'm trying to conserve my money for Hong Kong and so I can eat lol. So my free time have been mainly watching movies and taking walks.
Though on Wednesday, we had one of the intro to culture sessions in the dorm. It was tea ceremony. It wasn't as formal as the one I attended last Saturday, but it was probably because she was explaining everything. I got to try my hand at purifying different utensils and whatnot. It was interesting, but not as exciting as the last one (Japanese dance). The next session, which will be the last one, is either Japanese embriodery or flower arranging. I'm not sure though because I forget lol. I guess I will find out next month.
Yesterday, there was a party for three people who have birthdays in November: Peach, Jana, and Sean. There were a lot of people in the small space. Tamara dragged me down and forced me to be social :P. As though who may know me, I'm not into parties very much. But I got free food and socialized like a normal person lol.
I'm leaving for Hong Kong in 4 days!!! I can't wait!!! It will be nice to get out of Japan and away from people for a while. It should be a nice break to get me through the last two months of being here. I plan on buying my gifts for people in Hong Kong because it's so much cheaper there than here in Tokyo XP. Sooo if you get a gift, you can just pretend it came from Japan haha. Sarah said that there are a lot of things in Hong Kong that come from Japan, so it's possible you could get something originally from Japan haha. But I'm planning to mainly spend my money on food, transportation, and gifts. Sarah said a lot of the activities that we are planning on doing won't cost that much. Though I am planning on buying a winter coat there. Even though it's still warm there, Sarah said that they think it's cold. She's seen coats, scarves, hats, gloves, and whatnot.
Well next time I write, it will be all about my travels in Hong Kong!
66 days!! I can do it!!
