This past week was nothing exciting. Went to class and all that jazz.
Sarah went home to America on Saturday which is awesome for her because her life in Hong Kong was a little lonely, but I'm jealous lol. She said that she would sometimes get on the computer at night and in the morning to talk to me which is very nice ^_^. I'm so used to talking to her on skype like she was sitting next to me or something lol.
On Saturday Tamara and I made a little Mexican/Italian feast lol. We made margaritas (kind of), chips and queso, and a caprese salad for our actual meal. Before we went out to the international grocery store to get our ingredients, we first went to Shibuya because Tamara wanted to buy New Year's cards for people. We went to a bookstore to find some, and while we were there I bought two books. Of course I was limited in selection since it was a Japanese bookstore, but I bought The Alchemist (Sarah recommend it), which I plan on reading in January and on the plane back home, and I bought Bridget Jone's Diary: the Edge of Reason. I started reading the latter book and it's good so far. A nice easy read. But then we went to the international grocery store.
We came back to the dorm and Tamara made up the caprese salad and I made the queso. We ended up making A LOT of queso; we have a lot left over. We ate a pretty good amount too. I plan on mixing it into my mashed potatoes and using it as dipping sauce for my chicken nuggets for dinner tonight lol. We watched Mean Girls in my room while we ate and drank. We also have a very good amount of tequila left.
I don't really plan on doing anything this week because I will be doing things next week and the week afterwards. But, Tamara's Japanese friend from school is coming to Tokyo for a day before she goes to her family in Okayama tomorrow. I think I'm going with them to get some cheap food and meet her. I have heard a lot about her.
But anyway, I have 36 more days...
