Well, I've officially been home for a week now, and can I just say how wonderful it is to be home? I've watched quite literally more than a dozen movies, spent some quality time at the library, watched far too much Law and Order/VH1/My Boys, and slept later than I did all semester. It's great seeing everyone and not having to think about anything chemistry-related.
Highlights? My surprise (and very successfully surprising too) 21st birthday party, complete with people I haven't seen in far too long. That pretty much wins as the best thing that's going to happen over break, but just hanging out and going to the movies has been wonderful as well. Oh, and finally finding those shoes I've been searching for online since fall break; that was pretty fantastic. (By the way, I'm finding excuses to dress up next semester, no matter how much everyone else protests. I think my actual birthday might have to be a dressy affair now that I have a dress to wear.)
Things to do (because as much as I want to, I can't completely shut down for the next three weeks):
-Finish watching all the Grey's episodes Melissa lent me so I don't forget to give them back.
-Birthday present shopping for certain almost 21 year olds.
-Pick a fourth class for real (the paper writing class is looking less and less appealing every day)
-Find something to do this summer in case Earl Thomas decides not to come back this summer (going back to Minnesota's looking kind of appealing right now)
-Figure out why the stupid conceptis website doesn't work on my computer anymore.
-Schedule studio time for Lavender's Blue for January.
That's pretty much all I can think of for now. Back to my lovely library book. Happy new year!
