Well, I haven't updated in a really long time and I'm really sorry Amber. I promised I would. But here I am, popping back into your friend's page. :-)
Things are going good. School's getting easier and easier every day with the exception of Bentley's class. I can't stand her as a teacher. I really wish Mrs. Polhamus could be our teacher for just one more year. I'm trying to learn as much as I can on my own in Anatomy and Calculus isn't as hard as I thought it would be, especially with Beto's help. As for Government, call me crazy but I've actually enjoyed writing these last few essays in class. I think the practice is gonna really pay off when AP tests roll around. In Folklorico, we haven't really done much. The last song we learned was Viejitos, which is really cute. But since we don't have an upcoming recital or anything we're pretty much taking it easy for now. In Orchestra, we've been getting ready for both Burges in Bloom and our contest at El Paso High. We're playing two songs from "Phantom of the Opera" and they sound really nice with the whole orchestra. As for ROTC, we're getting ready for the other part of our off-year inspection. We're supposed to brief the Direct of Army Instruction from the school district. This guy's been in that position since my sister was battalion commander at Jefferson and that was 20 years ago. Sorry Paty, but it's true.
Anyway, I'm enjoying these 83 regular days and 50 school days before our graduation. I haven't applied for any scholarships yet, and I'm sorry for that Lisa, but I will get everything straight by the end of this month. Even sooner, I promise. We'll all be together at UTEP this fall.
Hmm...what else? I guess that's pretty much it. Oh! Marco and I have started talking again. It feels great to have him back in my life. I miss all the conversations we used to have back in middle school.
Well, that's a quick update for now. I'll write more later, I promise!! I hope everyone's doing good too!
