not at all, I found it really interesting. That was always a problem for me, the christan that is the-teachings-of-jesus I learned about (or what we could call discursive christianity, maybe) and the material history of christianity with is a lot of the above mixed in with a lot of rape and pilege and nastiness. This is why I think Jesus wouldn't have been christian-identified.
