also:
"see a game at Wrigley Field"

if i drive to Cleveland in April, I'm driving back through Chicago AND WE WILL DO THIS SHIT TOGETHER since the first time I saw Wrigley was with you when i humped the sign the night after 80% White ;)

i'm totally down for that. check the Cubs website and see if there's gonna be a game around the time that you'll be driving back through here.

and speaking of 80% White, i believe they were using that name again recently on myspace :)

Nice list. Seems like a lot to accomplish in one year - good luck!
I made the mistake of going into one of my favorite rare book stores today. The dude had a signed first edition of Gunslinger. Only $2795. Only. Went to another store like it and found a first ed. of The Wastelands that's still in the shrinkwrap for $150. And I may be going back for that tomorrow... maybe. I should probably just be happy that I've got The Little Sisters of Eluria/Gunslinger coming to me any day now.

Also... what are you using to do your family tree? I was farting around on Ancestry.com the other day, but wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend money on it so my options were pretty limited. I have extensive information on my mom's side of the family, but pretty much nothing else. So if you have any recommendations, that would rock.

it's not just one year, it's 1001 days! i feel a lot better about actually *accomplishing* a lot of those goals with the extra time. my official end date is September 29th, 2011 :)

i would've bought that first edition of Wastelands on the spot. you have more self control that i do!

i downloaded a cracked version of the family tree maker that syncs with ancestry.com. the one i have is fabulous, but when you upload to the site it makes you create a new tree each time. kind of a pain. so i'm just working through everything on my computer and THEN i'll upload when i'm done.

Ahhhhh! I get it now! (I'm pretty oblivious sometimes lol).

But hey... he's got two more first edition copies of Wastelands. They aren't in the shrinkwrap, but they're $100 each. Was considering getting one of them until I noticed the shrinkwrap one. Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you or something :)

That family tree maker sounds pretty nice. Any chance I might be able to snag a copy of that?

i found a couple stores here in Chicago that have 2-4 in first edition hardcover for $100-150. i may be spending my xmas bonus in that fashion.

however, if i had $2500, i'd get these.

or for $6500, these. all signed by Stephen King? yes please!

i totally don't have the installation files anymore. if you use any torrent sites, search for family tree maker 2008. if you don't use torrent sites, you need to! :)
