Yesterday I put 200 CDs and DVDs in the wrong places so no one could ever guess where to look for them. I even went so far as to tuck a couple under the sections themselves. They won't be accounted for until they close the place down and physically move and/or dismantle those big black bunks. Then I took the money from my cash and threw it

Honestly? I'd say Hungry Gaijin just sounds better because let's face it - the Japanese <3 the Engrish. :D Besides, with the former it sounds like you're living in a cardboard shack out by the river.

Oh, and good lord, don't bother buying Kleenex. Trust me when I say you'll have more tissues at the end of a fortnight to pad your apartment walls with. No other country I know of uses as standard advertising tissues as an incentive to buy their products. HERE FREE TISSUE YOU BUY IT!!!! :OOOO

Now that I'm looking at my stuff, Mom is really getting into some hardcore take-these-with-you-just-in-case items. The cleaning supplies make sense, but I have a feeling it's best to leave the taco shells behind. I can already picture waiting 6 months until I miss tacos, then when I open the box I discovered they fell apart in the process of packing and unpacking, and then I'll freak out on everyone for not having tacos in Japan. Or something just as sitcom-like.

XD Weeelll, you can buy cleaning supplies at the local convenience store or Donkey, but I guess if you want Canadian brand goods, you should take a few bottles of things. Can you actually bring liquids with your checked luggage, though? o.o I can't remember if that liquid ban/restriction is just for flights to Britain and the States, or if it was an across the board policy.

Oh, and taco shells might be a good thing to bring along, assuming you tuck them in between piles of clothes. Import foods are rather expensive in Japan. I once saw a jar of Nutella that ran for about $6. =.=

Just as a side note, some things you definitely *will* want to take are clothes, especially if you've got size/style considerations, and deodrant (especially if you like the stick kind and/or sweat a lot). The only things I found here were spray deodrants, and they... didn't work so well. =.= It's like Japanese armpits supposedly don't release as much sweat, so they're two thirds weaker than the stuff back home. Whut. The. Fuck.

I just pictured myself living in a van down by the river. Might not be a bad idea, depending on how small my apartment is. ^_______^

I'll definitely e-mail you the school's address, because I have a feeling I won't have a mailing address all to me onesy. That makes sense, I guess, because they have teachers moving in and out of these apartments all the time, so changing the names on the mailboxes must be a big hassle for landlords. Stupid foreigners not claiming their mail. We curse them precious!

Eh heh. XD I hope the school doesn't mind the life sized box I come in. Tell that to ignore the growling and snapping - and to keep their fingers out if they know what's good for 'em. >:D That aside, shoving a plate full of ramen and milk in there with a broom handle should be fine.

And yursh. :3 I'll do just about anything to come to Japan, so a visit is definitely in the cards. It'll be great seeing you again. I mish j00~. T_T
