Soooo....I'm at school. What more is there to say? Not much really goes on. While at school my life basically consists of me sitting at my computer desk all-day-long. No lie. But what I can do is tell you about the lovely space that I spend a good deal of my time. My dorm room consists of a desk room and a bedroom. I have one roommate. Then outside of my room I share a common room and a bathroom with 8 other girls. There are four bedrooms total in my suite. Confused? Good.
My desk room is lined with purple twinkles lights at the ceiling. Posters cover the walls, mainly ones of bands, as well as a few movie posters. I have two corkboards, which only consist of a few different pieces of paper and a few memos. The right side of my desk is decorated with various crap that I brought from home such as books and pictures, and the left side of my desk is filled with food.
My bedroom is even more boring. I have blue twinkle lights that I have tacked up along one wall. I have three pillows, many blankets and Stitch. Blah, blah, blah...its boring. But I did hang up a poster inside my right closet.
Today I drank three bottles of water, not to mention the other beverages I had along with my meals. I eat so much while I'm at school, I won't be suprised if I come home 20 pounds heavier. Perhaps a little upset, but not surprised. I eat when I'm not hungry. I eat because its something to do, and then I eat when I'm supposed to like during meals. Its crazy, so I've decided that from now on I'm just going to drink water when I need something to do. Why not work out? Pshh, who does that? I'm too lazy to walk to the gym to work out. That's just crazy. Haha. Nah, maybe I will eventually. OSU did built a really cool new rec center.
Everyone should be happy to know that all of my suitemates seem nice so far. Everything seems to be going good so far. I had dinner with some of them tonight and played Harry Potter Scene it. I even socialized with some of the boys who live on my floor and I talk to people I knew from last year. Yeah, I'm being social. Its weird becuase I can be social at home and its not generally a problem for me, but when I come to school its like I have to make an effort to talk to people. Whatever.
Any way, so Heather just got back from her adventure of getting alcohol. She and the two boys we met today went out and just asked some random homeless guy to buy them beer...and he did....crazy....yeah. I personally didn't expect them to come back with anything. I even pictured this whole elaborate scheme where they'd all get arrested. But yeah, they got beer. It's like its a game to get alocohol when you're underage...who are you going to ask this time? How are you going to sneak it in? Who's room are you going to drink it in? Not like I ever really worry about any of these. They're all too easy to answer. It's like a second grade test.
I'll post pictures later. Now its power hour time. Katie, welcome back to college.
