Hoorah Herndon
just got back from Area 5 down in Norfolk. It was awesome i got to see a couple of aircraft like the E-2, and what i think was an F-18 from its looks and by the roar of the engines. We left Thursday afterschool, and got tehre around 9 then after that we spent 2 hours shinning shoes, and getting uniforms ready for the inspection the next day. In my room were Hunter Pike Matt Jones
and me. Everyone came into the room, and we laughed and joked and talked and listened to some comedy. during those two days i built my rep again as a begining underground rapper, i got alot of good comments on my beats and lyrics, and how it all sounded together. i got to make new friends, and fortify other friendships wich was really good, i got some good advice from Brianna on how i should handle my moving situation wich really was cool
at the drill meet the first day we had teh push up, curl ups, and inspection parts of the meet. during inspection i did awesomely well here are some of the Marine's Comments:
DI(inspecting marine): Holy shit son is that a scratch on your belt?!
me: SIR, YES SIR
DI: Did you know tehre was a scratch on it?
me:SIR YES SIR
DI: then why the hell did you put it on son?
me: Sir it got scratched as i was chaning SIR
DI: Good answer, thats an answer a marine would have given. God Damn, you're the best looking caded i seen all day, hell if you answer my two questions correctly you'll be the first one i give a fucking 10 to...
good times good times.
although we didn't qualify to go to nationals i really learned alot, and gained alot of respect, and gained experiecen from the older cadets in the unit, and next year we'll get them, and we'll be going to Pensacola.
