Success!

AHAHA
They won't quite be kicking me out of University yet! Passed my 1st year with a 2-1, took a lot of effort to get it though, results were technically released on Monday at 4pm but apparently the university RISIS (Reading Institute Student Intranet Service... or something) site crashed under the activity (unsuprisingly) and then the server had some sort of critical error.
Apparently you could access your results between 3am to about 8:30am this morning but... I slept long past that. Ended up having to email to get my results through my Uni mail.

So yay!
Time to work harder now since my next two years actually contribute to my degree!

All kinds of drama going down in the period of time I was away and back home (was back in deepest darkest Dorset for a few days last week, Dad back from a month abroad and Gran going into hospital so it seemed like the best time to visit everyone) so thus far and the next week will revolve around avoiding getting drawn into it.

It sort of condenses down to two of my friends being dumped, one of them is pretty emo already, the other one ended up slashing her ex's tyres which he then ended up using to drive home and back. As much as I do love my friends at uni I can't see how that's justifiable at all so I'm staying well clear of being bogged down with that one.

Went out tonight as part of a joint birthday party for two of my 1st year friends who're 20 next week, but myself, Alex, Emma and Claire ended up heading off around 11pm since things were potentially going to go downhill (best not to ask, drunk + ex turning up at pub + sleezy friend of a friend hitting on anything female (was quite repulsive)) We were dressed as pirates (though I was pretty half-assed, black jeans, black sleeveless top, red sash and a black bandanna and pirate sword goooooooo~!!) Claire kept complaining about the cold but wouldn't take my jacket, huah, denied!

3 more days till I'm out of halls then a matter of a week and a bit before I move into the house, seems kinda strange to think about.

asshatery, university, social
