One way system makes me /emo
Oh lawd, one way system in Reading is pretty godawful, I swear it takes me just as long to drive home in the car as it does to walk, there's something really WRONG when that's the case. Anywho, MinamiCon approaches, oh ho ho we in for some fun fun times now!
Leaving to Southampton on Thursday night, unpack and setup everything I guess for registration to open up on Friday,
warpeddream, catch up with me some time over the weekend :D! I'm so happy i managed to finish all my immediately problematic uni work on monday afternoon too...poster on Water voles - Arvicola terrestris - honestly now, everyone else got really awesome stuff like... Lions, Whales, Seals, Tigers and shit. What did I get? Water voles. WONDERFUL. The little poster guide was all "Find something interesting to focus on your creature :D!" seriously. There's nothing interesting about water voles. At all. They're small, look like brown rats and are incredibly ill adapted to their little niche in the world. GREAT. I suppose if we get any questions in the pub quiz on them I'll be fucking ace. But until such a time arises I consider it a little bit of a waste of brain space D;
Anyway, back to the topic of one way systems on my fucking gawd, driving to the train station to pick up
kahochan was an epic chore due to the fact that I have to make a reeeeaaaaally large round about route 'cause all the roads around the town center are one way seemingly away from the train station, HANDY THAT D: we had a mini adventure over to Calcot Homebase in a failed attempt to buy the stands Pete wanted for the monster TV's which entailed a minor fallout with the Satnav. I think (just like me) it doesn't like Readings roads. I can navigate out of Reading the way we want nps though. So'ton is pretty much just coming off the M27 earlier whereas when I drive back home I stay on it all the way.
Mmm, still I think I'll get some google map directions >_> just in case.
Oh ya, and Pete put me in a headlock while we were driving (At a red light but still) if I die on the way to or from MinamiCon in a terrible car accident I better take out Pete too. Saeki can have my FFXI account and

8people can have my belongings :D! Maybe should put him in boot with those little cages you can put dogs in? I think it's a good idea, I'm sure everyone would only endorse such plans.
