Um . . . hi. I am alive, I promise. My health is no longer (as) shady and my sleep disorder isn't debilitating, although it is still annoying. I wasn't able to take that Interim class to Europe, and I had to drop a class from Fall, but I'm in school once more and regaining my balance.
I'd like to see some of you again, and I hope you know I have not been hiding from anyone purposefully. I've had some very difficult times. I'd like to start having a life again, if you'll give me a chance. There's still a lot of homework to do, but a day/night or two per week should be manageable for social activities. I'm also interested in physical activities inside, or outside come spring. I miss weekly yoga with
saracura, but I know she's in a new place now--enjoying that, hon? I hope volleygrill comes back cause that rocks, too. Not to mention it includes some kickass people. In the meantime, let me know what nights you like to do stuff, and where any group activities take place. I have a night class on Tues/Wed but otherwise my evenings aren't all filled.
In other news, I made
a quiz. I blame
lio.
Lastly, I have been with my boyfriend for two months (granted we first slept together in July, and have been seeing more of each other since halloween). It feels like too short a time for us to have grown as close as we have, but I know time doesn't necessarily matter so much for that. I'm constantly amazed, and incredibly thankful. Every trip to see him adds or disinters a new dimension. I don't like the distance, but I think that it really benefits us in a way. I guess I have come to realize/believe that with a good relationship and a strong connection, the distance will strengthen your bond. If the relationship, or just the connection, is lacking in any way, distance becomes a strain--and a slow death. It gets harder to leave him, but my commitment and my love grow stronger. Our trip to Jersey was amazing, and New Year's in New York was the most (unconventionally) romantic New Year's I have ever had. We plan to visit again some time, possibly around his birthday at the end of May, but that is very tentative.
I'll add more details to things like the Jersey trip later on. Hope you lovely folks are having a fabulous snow day.
