[She does so, and sniffles softly.]

[gently spoken, as she starts working her way to where she assumes Nunnally's room is. ]

[ that feeling of guilt, that she hasn't really recognized in so long, comes with a sort of bittersweet sense of happiness. that someone cared that much. it still baffles her ..she makes a sound at that, to show she's listening, before she knocks on her door. ]

[Nunnally jumps a little as she realizes that C.C.'s at the door, and she tilts her head.]

[She does want to see her...so, so badly.]

[ C.C. walks in with that same silent grace, tilting her head, her amber eyes softening as she looks down on the girl. ]

[She's trying so hard not to cry (again), but this time it's from happiness.]

[ she gently walks over, and wordlessly kneels, slipping her arms around the girl. ]

[gently strokes her curls, despite how her expression is as smooth as ever, her voice is quiet ]

Forgiving your brother, trying to be strong for not just yourself but for his sake, despite that..I would imagine that's some sort of strength.

My forgiving him...we have a limited time together here. His reasons for what he did were wrong, but...I can't dwell on that. I don't know if it's so much as me being strong as it is selfish.
