I looked at my list of resolutions from last year. I'm glad I put down a gazillion things because it increased my odds of succeeding at something.
I really only stuck to two things: flossing regularly and learning to compromise with others. most of the others I maintained but didnt really improve upon. i only failed miserably at a few. that's an ok report card i think. I mean... this past year was crazy! But 2008 will be crazy, too. I guess I'll take the interesting, unpredictable life over having the leisure to perfect myself. at least for now.

Also, RIP Parker Howe. I loved hanging out with you in high school and partying with you at amanda's 21st b-day bash. you were never anything but kind, funny, welcoming, quirky, and cool and that was hard to come by at age 16! You should know that it's when bad things happen to good people like you that I want to go into a helping profession even more. Whatever suffering you went through will not be forgotten. I (and many many others) miss you dearly, park.
