As Roman citizen and the supreme commander of the Roman army, my weapon of choice is: the politics.
Using other weapons, you could kill some miserable people, destroy wastelands and provincial cities... but the politics can shatter the world.
That’s the real power of Rome. Barbarians raise and disappear like a swarm of locusts. They all make clutch at Rome ... without success. And I play with their tribes and kings as if they are toys... with one exception. Oh, I also play with him but the stake is entirely different in his case.
