yeah, my year is full of all English all the time. I'm taking 201-writing in context with a focus on the sea and literature about that. The next is 335 Cross Cultural Literature which is mostly about minorities and identity issues. Finally there is 370-Linguistics. Very hard and not extremely interesting, but necessary. If it isn't obvious I'm thinking about an English major. My room mate is from Alaska is is sometimes on the "prissy" side but not enough to get on my nerves. Right now one of his friends from Denmark is living with us for about 11 days. She's sleeping under his bed and I'm okay as long as I don't walk in on anything. A couple nights I came back and my suite mates had been smoking pot in the bathroom. It's ok as long as I don't get in trouble, but they promised to never do it again. They're all under 21 so if they get busted for alcohol and my door is open I'm in charge. There's another promise from them heh I'm starting to get used to the school life. It's okay once you start being immersed in it. Nothing horrible has happened yet and there are a few comforts of home I miss. I'll be back around Dec. 13 for vacation and start full time work yet again. I hope we can hang out sometime.

So your roomies are drugies, eh? Well, I guess we can't have everything in life! Your classes sound interesting, though. You'll have to tell me what Linguistics is all about. I've never taken a linguistics class before. Must be kinda weird to be the older guy in the roomies crew. Do they ever ask you to buy alcohol for them ;) Anyway, we should definitely hang out when you get back, though working full time sounds kinda harsh. Oh well. Gotta make money, I guess.
