kudos to papa_monzano for posting this interview with peter chung, about the state of visual narrative.
there're also some interviews with Peter Chung on the dvd's for pitch black (for which the director's cut is awesome!) and dark fury (which is just too damn short), in which he speaks along similar lines.
and with that inspiration, i am now going to go pick up some of jodorowsky's comics...
