the last successful rpg campaign i designed and ran, was based on the king in yellow, and other works by robert chambers (and tales related to the hastur cycle)... by the end of the campaign, all but one of the characters were trapped in the alternate dimension of hastur, because they had attended a theatric production of the king in yellow -- their only hope lay in the one paranoid character who refused to see the play, and a mysterious gypsy woman who possessed the tantric knowledge of how to reach them...

after contemplating this for a while, i decided that i should really add a _major_ caveat *!achtung!*!warning!*!alert!*!peligro!* to any mention of pathworking with the Qlipphoth -- this is not a joke, folks. This stuff can be SERIOUSLY dangerous, especially around the abyss, where my post concerning Shun-Niggurath/Binah is concerned. Many, many banishings to ground and center oneself are beneficial: before, during, and after any kind of Qlipphotic work ...like any of you didn't already know that? Well, i have heard some people scoff at the neccessity to use magickal protection, and i will have to say that i think it can be no less deadly than sex without a condom can be these days...
