i am certainly glad that you see what's happening here.
but there seems to be some rather prevalent denial in our society.
any ideas on how to get people to wake up & smell the fascism?
unfortunately, i don't think an austin tea party is going to make much of an impact, at this point.
i think we need a new metaphor to get the message across to the current mindset.
i do think it is notable that our coming election is preceeded by Halloween: perhaps a Day of the Dead parade might produce some results?
(with ghosts of the soldiers, children, the US constitution... whatever our recent policies have killed)

I think there are steps that can be taken, but I think they're not cool, not fun, not creative, not sexy and definately won't seem like anything interesting people would want to do.
such is the way Austin activism seems to work.
