Ink, Sake, and Sickness.

So I got my very first piece of ink today. Wasn't painful at all! It just feels like a bit of a burn. The only downside was having an allergic reaction to the adhesive used on the bandage. LOL. It's a beautiful piece and is less painful than getting blood work done or having bad period cramps. Yeah those hurt more. Waxing hurts more than getting inked. I got a quote on my tribute tattoo to my grandparents. It'll cost $500 for the outline and $500 (or a little more) for the colouring and shading. 3-4 sessions, Pete explained. It really opened my eyes and made me fall in love with tattooing. I would love to do tattooing as a profession if I ever had the opportunity. Either that or becoming a holistic practicioner. Maybe I can be both!

We went back to Sake for food and the owner still loves us so much he gave us more free food! What a wonderful place! I want to go back for dinner in the next two weeks for something else there. Sushi roll with apple is freaking amazing! he uses our favourite apple too, Fujis.

Walking back from our ordeal though was the most sickening sight we have seen in a long time. I am still trying to stop myself from bursting into tears. We stopped to find a payphone to report it too. At first we thought "What is that? Is that a rat?" No, upon closer inspection it was the carcas of a newborn (still fresh) puppy. A hound of some sorts. I tried to look away but it was so sad and my heart went out to it. We couldn't let it go. We called around to try and figure out what to do, but we were advised to call again in the morning during day hours.

Batz who has professional experience in sorrowful scenes of violence noted that the poor little puppy's neck had been intentionally snapped because of how it's spine, along the neck, was portruding from its flesh. Some people are just sickening to have done such a thing to a poor defenseless animal. They had also just left it on the curb. I am angry, sad, disgusted, and very upset towards anyone who would kill such a poor dear rather than perhaps taking it to a vet. Batz says that if he sees anything more like this around in the area he might expect a puppy mill going on. I hope not.

Please give any prayers (if you are religious) to all the helpless dead that they may be cared for as they return to the arms of the Goddess/God.
