Settling in...
So, finally we have a phone line. Apologies if I havent replied to any of your emails. I'm not being neglectful, I just havent had access or if I have, I'm paying for it by the minute. Our broadband will be switched on on Aug 7th.
Anyway, on a brighter note, our son is a wonderful little boy. He sleeps for 6 hours at night, is awake a large portion of the day. When he wakes up, he entertains himself for an hour or so before getting upset and wanting fed. He has also started to smile, which is the most adorable thinge ever! People also stop me in the street to tell me how gorgeous he is, "such fine delicate features" apparently.
The house is getting there, a few pictures have gone up on the wall, I have a washing machine that works, a utility area that no longer leaks and a garden waiting to be turfed. However, we are off to mum and dads caravan this weekend, so I cant wait for that. Its going to be cooler than it has been, which is great as my darling boy has problems (like most babies) with the heat and keeping his feeds down. He is OK now thank god, the health visitor said its more common than you think.
