catching up
I saw the doctor about my knee reassessment yesterday. He says that it is stable, however the fact that it is locking could indicate that the meniscus has torn again. I will be seeing another doctor next week as a prelude to my release from the military. I am supposed to tell him/her about my knee and find out if further xrays, MRI's need to be done. It could delay my release administratively. :o( I wouldn't be required to (parade) work but I still wouldn't be released.
Today I went shopping with my oldest daughter. I didn't really have anything that I was looking for except for a birthday present for our son-in-law. If found some great things to give him for his birthday and a number of things for myself. :o)
I got $100.00 worth of products free from Shoppers Drug Mart. (I redeemed points) I love free stuff. One of the things I got for free was this really yummy smelling perfume - baby phat Golden Goddess by kimora lee simmons. Then I bought a charcoal coloured pea coat and funky gloves and scarf to go with it. It was a fun day.
Hubby shopped too. He left the house this morning to go to Home Depot to buy rigid foam insulation and the adhesive to stick it to the basement walls. Instead he came home with laminate flooring for the basement. Home Depot has the special supply of cherry finish laminate in and we both liked it when we were in ordering new area rugs a couple of weeks ago. It was selling pretty fast so Hubby decided he would get it today. I thought it was kind of funny when he told me, went out for one thing and came back with something totally different. I'm glad he bought it though, seeing we liked it and it was going fast.
Tomorrow it's off to the dentist. *sigh* First round for crown replacement. :o(
