lazy day
Today is a statutory holiday for government employees and the military. Remembrance Day was on Saturday and when it falls on a weekend we get the following Monday off. Hubby and I slept in until 08:30; an amazing feat given the fact that we are usually up between 04:30 and 05:00 on week days, our older achy bones don't normally let us lie around that long and we have four cats who usually demand breakfast long before then. It was glorious. I am still in my pajamas as a matter of fact.
It's snowing again. I hope it slows down a bit this afternoon; I have a Tupperware party to go to at oldest daughter's house this evening. It is supposed to get quite warm by the end of the week, but only for a couple of days so hopefully my "white Christmas" will remain safe.
Time to make some lunch for Hubby and me.
