Back to reality
Yesterday was such a blast, I thought today would be a let down. It wasn't, but it was back to reality. My short contract came through, so I am employed now full time again until 21 Nov 06. I had taken a day of leave (vacation) for yesterday but I was told today that I didn't need to, it was put down as sick leave. (I did have an appointment with an optometrist) That means I still have two vacation days to use before this new contract is up. :o)
My little car is fun to drive. It handles a bit different that Hubby's Focus, but nothing too extreme. I hope we have a couple of warm days left before winter sets in. I would like to try out the moon roof. Unfortunately there were flurries falling earlier this evening and there is snow in the forecast for this weekend.
Our dining room chairs will be ready for pick up on Monday. Hubby took them in on Thursday. I can hardly wait. They are going to look fantastic and they won't have the scratchy fabric on the seats and backs anymore.
Hubby has to work tomorrow so I think that I am going to try and get some stuff done around the house. I really need to vacuum, especially in the living room. The cats have been busy shedding on the furniture. There is also a weeks worth of laundry so I'll be busy.
