I did it
This evening I got my tattoo. It is to celebrate and commemorate beating cancer. I was surprised how little it hurt. Well here it is for all to see.
I chose this design (partly mine) because the pink ribbon kinda looked like a butterfly. I added antennae and coloured the loop black for the butterfly body. This all started with the card from my daughter kailiia gave me that said;
"JUST WHEN THE CATERPILLAR THOUGHT THE WORLD WAS OVER, IT BECAME A BUTTERFLY - anonymous" The pink ribbon is open and "free form" because I am not a victim (which all the traditional ribbons for everything make me think of) I am a survivor and my world is far from over.
