aaahhhhh!
My mother-in-law is visiting. She is a sweet woman who was widowed 2 1/2 years ago. She doesn't stop talking and keeps trying to help out in my tiny kitchen. It is bigger than a galley kitchen but not by much. I understand that she's lonely and needs to talk but OMG my ears are exhausted.
On a happier note I have learned how to make pickled peppers and an eggplant dish that Hubby loves that I've attempted before and failed miserably at. (the eggplant blew up in the oven and also blew out the gas pilot light) We also peeled and core a bazillion apples from the tree in our yard and made apples sauce. I have been such a domestic goddess!
I've also been narrowing the choices for my butterfly tattoo. (to celebrate the end of cancer treatments) More to follow on that.
Well I have finished my beer. I guess that I should go see what is happening around the house.
