wind
It is crazy windy here today. Driving my Jeep earlier this afternoon was like trying to wrestle a rhinoceros. There is all kinds of dirt and leaves blowing around.
Thankfully I am feeling pretty much my usual self. I didn't accomplish much this week but did read and sleep a lot. There is laundry to do and housework as well but I'm trying not to push too hard too fast. My energy level is coming up but at least I can "do" my hair without my arms feeling like lead. I really want to start cleaning up my "rock" garden and our little vegetable garden area so hopefully I'll be strong enough this coming week. No planting for more than a month so I have some time. It isn't unusual for us to have a late snowfall in May!
My archery target was knocked down during our last wind/snow storm. Six foot steel pickets bent over flat to the ground! We will be relocating the target so that it isn't facing the prevailing wind direction and Hubby will be mounting it on 4 x 4 posts that will be cemented in the ground.
Well, I should start thinking about dinner. I think leftovers are on the menu so it will be pretty easy.
