amazing day!
Today has been amazing. This morning church service was filled with praise and worship. We are so blessed to have a worship team that is filled with the Holy Spirit.
After church Hubby and I headed home for lunch and to let the dogs out. After a quick lunch we headed into the city to watch a soccer game - FC Edmonton vs Minnesota United FC.
It was an excellent game and best of all; FC Edmonton won! Hubby and I are soccer fans and follow the Barclays Premier League. My favorite team is Everton and while we were at the Edmonton game I bought an Everton jersey and an FC Edmonton t-shirt. The weather was glorious, although I might have got a bit too much sun as I have a bit of a headache, but it could also be due to a lack of sleep. It was after 1:00 am before I got to sleep and Teddy was awake at 05:30.
We are enjoying our first stretch of summer like temperatures and I'm finding it very warm. So it little Noki. I snapped this picture of him on Friday while he was sleeping in my rocking chair.
Everyone is getting along pretty well. Noki wants to play with Tiger, but Tiger isn't interested. Maggie is still a bit unsure of Noki. Everyone seems very interested in eating the kitten food and yesterday I was surprised to find Sparkle (our aloof cat) and Noki sleeping together in the rocking chair.

Wednesday's weigh-in was good. I've now lost a total of 29 lbs and am just 1 lb from my original goal. My doctor would like me to lose more, but isn't sure that I'll be able to go much lower and be able to maintain it. Not gaining back the weight I've lost is more important than losing another 5 lbs.
Hubby has the week off. It will be nice to spend some time together beyond our always busy 2 1/2 day weekends. Maybe we will go see the movie The Lone Ranger.
