I had my weekly weigh-in today. It was a good one, I was down 4 lbs for a total of 25 lbs since February 15th! I've officially moved from the obese category to over-weight. My doctor and I revisited my goals and he thinks that if I lose another 10 to 15 lbs I should be good. Originally he wanted me to lose a total of 60 but thinks that might be unrealistic given that I don't have a small frame. Actually, he'd just be quite happy if I don't gain any of the weight back. I'm going to try very hard to keep off what I've discarded.
This morning while getting dressed I realized that most of my t-shirts are way too big. I have always preferred my clothing to be a little loose but it now looks like I'm wearing Hubby's instead of mine. I had hoped that I would be able to transition to my goal weight without the need to buy a lot of different sizes. This doesn't appear to be the case. Hopefully I can find a few t-shirts that are inexpensive to take me through the summer. Hubby is very supportive and understands that clothing that is 3 sizes too big doesn't work and some of it can't really be altered.
