Monday, glorious Monday

Mondays have a bad rap, but today was a good day. I got a good nights sleep and Teddy slept until about 6:30ish. It was frosty this morning so the dogs weren't interested in staying outside for long. They lay around and slept while I read through all the Bible verses for our Bible study on Wednesday evening and made notes for the questions. I didn't have any commitments outside our home today, so I stayed in my pj's until it was time to take Maggie for her walk. It was a beautiful day; sunshine, blue skies, and a light breeze. We walked to the mail boxes, checked the mail and walked back home. She is such a joy. Everything is interesting to her. Fun is around every corner and every couple of minutes she jogs back to me to say hello and then she's off following her nose again. I had a lazy day today. Other than walking Maggie I didn't do much. I read some, surfed the web and watched a bit of TV. Today I am thankful for:

1. The fact that I'm never alone. God is with me, always.

2. My grandchildren. They keep me young.

3. A lazy day. I'm feeling rested and refreshed.
