Actually I haven't been anywhere, but our internet left. It was down from some time yesterday afternoon to some time this afternoon. Some sort of "technical" problem.
The weather has been gorgeous, with the high today of 12 C or 53.6 F. A better harbinger of spring for me is the Canada Geese returning. A day or two ago I saw and heard a flock of geese go overhead. There isn't much open water yet and with the small amount of snow we received over the winter there won't be much if any improvement in the water levels in the sloughs around here.
This morning when I took the dogs out I discovered that we had a visitor in the yard. A moose was browsing in the trees just beyond our "yard".
A short time after that the moose moved off and lay down in an open area on the acreage next to ours that is undeveloped.
Then another moose, a smaller one showed up and spent some time eating and then lay down as well. Here it is having a snack.
Then the larger moose got up and and started eating again.
Some time while I was having a shower the pair moved off. In all they spent a couple of hours close to the house. Fortunately most of the time the moose weren't in the dogs line of sight or they would have been barking the whole time.
This week is going to be one spent coming and going. Today I had to take my truck in for its 12,000 km tune-up. Tomorrow, besides volunteering at church in the morning and Bible study in the evening I have an emergency dental appointment in the afternoon. Some how on Saturday I bit down and broke the bond anchoring my permanent retainer. It is still attached at both ends but the tooth that is no longer attached is loose. Hopefully the dentist will be able to fix it because if I have to wait for a referral to an othodontist I could be waiting a while. Wednesday morning I have a doctors appointment to have the stitches removed from where I had the mole removed last week. I think my oldest daughter is coming over on Wednesday some time to work on the our calendar. Friday, Hubby and I have to go to H & R Block to sign our tax returns. We still don't know how we are going to make out. I'll be happy if we break even. Thursday looks like the quietest day although I'm going to our church in the evening to pray with others in our congregation. Somewhere in all this coming and going; I need to find time to do some housework. Oh, and I have my workshop on Saturday. Thankfully I don't have too much more to do to prepare for it.
I guess I should catch up on with things online that I couldn't do last night and earlier today.
