August was a busy month for Sophie. She managed to collect a total of 13 rocks and smuggled a few sticks into the house as well. This is her rock collection: no gold unfortunately.
Tomorrow I'll toss them back on to the driveway area. She hasn't picked up lately but I suspect that she is trying to convince me she's abandoned her quest and when I let down my guard she'll sneak another rock into the house.
Nothing too exciting going on. Hubby will be heading back to Fort McMurray tomorrow. Oh, I almost forgot; there is 1 (one) tomato that has started to ripen. None of the tomatoes are very big; most being the size of a kiwi fruit, but at least there is hope that we might enjoy a few.
Despite the fact that we are in the middle of another very warm spell I've seen flocks of geese on the move. Fall can't be too far off.
I originally typed this up last night but for some reason it wouldn't load, so this is the Wednesday morning version. The coffee is nearly ready. Time to go.
