It was foggy when Hubby came home from work so the trees had a coating of hoarfrost on them again today. About mid morning it started to snow; big, fat, fluffy flakes. By mid afternoon the trees looked amazing.
This is the lower branches of the spruce tree in our front yard and this (below) is a shot of the trees across the street from our house that border the park:
I am going to use this picture in a card. I got a swap card that used a photo on it that looked really interesting so I have to try it out. If it turns out I'll post it in my journal.
Teddy was supposed to have puppy training class this evening but with the snow and mild temperatures the highway was pretty slippery and having gone into the ditch on two different occasions during past winters I didn't want to run the risk of taking another ditch. I didn't even make it a third of the way there and passed at least 5 vehicles...SUV's and trucks in the ditch. Too scary for me. So Teddy and I came home and I've been working on the two make and take projects for my open house/launch of the new Spring/Summer Stampin' Up! Catalogue on the 2nd of January. I've got the card figured out but not a 3-D project as yet. It's just about time for Teddy to go out for his last potty break for bed so I'd better round up the cats.
