Today was a good day. I slept in until about 8:00, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and then started my day. I make a carrot cake with cream cheese icing for dessert. (oldest daughter and family came over for dinner) We had pot roast with potatoes and carrots. Normally I make it on top of the stove but today I made it in a roaster in the oven. It turned out very nicely and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Hubby vacuumed for me seeing the motion of vacuuming still causes the sharp pain on my right side. He takes good care of me. Other than a load of laundry it was a pretty slow day. Tomorrow I will tackle all of the dishes, I am pretty tired out after the grandkids visit.
My throat is a little sore this evening. I hope that I'm not coming down with another cold.
