continuing with my streak of watching awesome movies, saw Slumdog Millionaire last night and I don't think I've been on the edge of my seat like that in a very long time (to be fair, it was the first Danny Boyle movie I saw) and the fact that it snuck in my favourite composer of all time helped immensely =)
so yes, another rec. Now I have to watch Frost/Nixon and I think that should put a cap on it for a while because oh yeah, there's that thing called school.
in other non-movie news, I finished Whitechurch (Chris Lynch) for the second time and it really has that whole second-read-is-altogether-different thing going for it which I loved. I swear, this book should have a cult following, though I'd be afraid if it ever became a fandom. I doubt it ever will get that much attention though since it hasn't appealed to a lot of people I know but it does insane things to me and just yeah, it's one of those books I'm glad to finally own.
