OMG IT'S AN UPDATE!!!!!
Ok, so I've been absolutelly terrible at giving this thing real updates this semester. So it is now time to be informed of my life up to date.
So this semester has been going smothly though there are definatelly stressful moments such as the one I am in now. Currently I'm in a slump of homework/Kappa/GYPPAC madness where everything is imploding upon itself. I have so much homework to do it's not even funny (at least to prepare for). Kappa is everywhere I turn since there's only about 2 and a half weeks left of their MC process and GYPPAC has been crazy but will be finished with till December after friday night.
Kappa Kappa Psi - So this semester I was approved to get a little. Normally you need to be an active brother for at least one full semester but I was granted special permission considering I graduate in the spring and will not be cabable of performing the duties of a big brother to the fullest extent while student teaching. My little is absolutelly AMAZING. Her name is Chrissy and she's just awesome. She gets over 100% on all of her tests and is on top of everything she needs to be in regards ot the MC process. All I have to say is that I love her!
GYPPAC - So we casted the show. And I just have to say that this next year should be completely amazing. There's are 2 leads I'm going to have to spend extra time with to prepare them but they both have the work ethic and the drive to get things right. There's alot of things thatI need to worry about but I've decided that I'm going to have to mix "how to read music" class into rehearsal time. It's the only way that I'll be able to get these kids to understand singing in harmony. The orchestra is gonna be HUGE too and I cant' wait to have all of the players finalized.
Homework - So I'm just completely swamped. I'm behind in my instrumental methods homework. I've started my field soI have a ton of observations on the way to write up and can't get ahold of my advisor as to where he wants homework and in what format. I need to actually go through all of my classes and write down my homework for the rest of the semester. I think that's the only way that I'll actually get a handle on everything. I need to memorize 3 songs for my voice lessons by thursday and I have absolutelly no time to do so.
Musicale - Musicale i going smoothly for the committee. But I just have to say that performing in alot of acts is absolutelly stressful. I'm accomplanying several people and rehearsing is tough especially when I have my own things to rehearse. I just don't even know about that. All I know is that I will be SOOOOOOO happy when next weekis over. Not only that but Thanks giving break starts three weeks from wednesday.
Anywho, I need to get to sleep. I have a final teaching first thing in the morning and one of my hell days. I'll update again soon...I hope. Btw, I love teaching private lessons.
