The Return of Puddin'head and other tales
Fed Clara banana pudding twice this week, once was out of guilt....apparently she's allergic to oatmeal, and I found out the hard way. The poor thing broke out in hives for about an hour. So in order to make up for it, I fed her banana pudding, her favorite! The other time was when mom and I went to this really good asian place near here, and it's always a special treat for Clara too when we go. Now the real trick is getting her to eat anything else. Amazingly both times she managed to get it all in her mouth instead of everywhere else.
Mom has a job again, and this one pays her more too, so she's excited about that, she starts tomorrow.
Changed the clocks this morning....I hate that. Now I want to go back to Indy really bad, because I never had to worry about the stupidity of it getting dark at nine pm because people want to feel like they have extra daylight during the winter. It is what it is people, just leave well enough alone.
I'm bummed the Pope died, and I think I'll avoid the news for however long it takes for them to elect a new one. I'm so not into the media making the choice for his successor a circus. Grrr...sometimes I hate the press!
Since the weather is getting so nice, I will be scheduling another trip very soon. On my current list to see is: Lindsay, Kelli, Chris & Charlie (and of course Amanda), hopefully Eric, and anyone else that would like to be seen and tells me so. I'm determined to bring the munchkin with this time, although mom doesn't want me too, I've explained to her that there are too many people that would like to see her too!
