it'd be way nice if just one thing would go my way, once in a while. I don't ask for much.. but just a few bones thrown my way? like it would have been nice if we could have had a cooperative dog. or if one or the other of us could have remembered to bring a toy. or if the stupid dog would have been hungry, instead of not really wanting the treats after about 5 min...

I dunno. maybe I'll just leave.. or take a short walk off of our non-existent balcony. the view from the edge of the courtyard seems high enough...
